The Susquehannock Warriors will square off against the Littlestown Thunderbolts at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Susquehannock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Susquehannock needed a bit of extra time to put away Spring Grove. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Rockets. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Nick Bender made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Littlestown's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Susquehannock hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Littlestown, though, as they've only averaged .221. Will they be able to contain Susquehannock's hitters?
