Soccer Game Preview: Wickliffe vs. Firelands

Wickliffe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Orange get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Wickliffe in their matchups with Orange: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Firelands made easy work of Lake Catholic on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. Give Firelands' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Addie Schrader and Hazel Littleton scored all three of Firelands' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Wickliffe's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Firelands, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1.
