Baseball Recap: Morrison Wins Going Away Against Polo

While Morrison put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Polo. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Marcos. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Marcos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Kamden White was a standout: he scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Noah Robbins was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Morrison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Polo only posted an OBP of .111.

Morrison moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Polo, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Morrison will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Marcos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
