Baseball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Archbishop Alter Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Monday.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Archbishop Alter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carroll is set to take on their familiar foe Archbishop McNicholas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Archbishop Alter will square off against rival Badin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
