Basketball Recap: Axtell Extends Winning Streak to 22

It's playoff time, and Axtell had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 57-39 win over the Cunningham Wildcats on Saturday. 57 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

The win (which was Axtell's 22nd in a row) raised their record to 24-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Cunningham, they moved to 24-1 with that loss, which also ended their 37-game winning streak.
