Bernards came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 58-40. Given the Mountaineers' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Warriors are ranked 142nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bernards' victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Watchung Hills Regional, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
