Fans got a thrill when Adison Jones and Adam Herrera connected against Dolores. The connection went for 91 yards, the longest such play in 1A Southern Peaks this season.

Centauri added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Monte Vista, 14-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Falcons.

Jones threw for 411 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 23-35 with 0 interceptions.

Mikeal Ford was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 75 yards on 8 carries as the Bears defeated the Bears. Deano Valdez also contributed to the rushing game with 33 yards on the ground.

The Bobcats' Jones and Clayton Jefferson have formed a dream team this season, leading 1A Southern Peaks in both passing and receiving yards. Jones has thrown for 1,997 yards this season, while Jefferson has 51 catches for 740 yards. Centauri's Jason Buhr leads the league in rushing yards with 839.

Del Norte fell to Center 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Matt Mueller threw for 55 yards and ran for 41 yards in the defeat.
