Softball Game Preview: Tidewater Academy Warriors vs. Kenston Forest Kavaliers

The Warriors will be playing at home against the Kavaliers at 3:30 p.m. Neither Tidewater Academy nor Kenston Forest posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Tidewater Academy's offense. They lost 10-0 to Broadwater Academy on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Kenston Forest also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association on Thursday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Kavaliers were not able to get on the board.

Kenston Forest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Tidewater Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kenston Forest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.
