Softball Game Preview: Harvest Prep Warriors vs. Fairfield Christian Academy Knights

Harvest Prep hasn't had much luck against Fairfield Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Harvest Prep has given up an average of 18.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Harvest Prep is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Fisher Catholic, falling 20-0.

Meanwhile, Fairfield Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 20-15 to Berne Union. Even if the Knights couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Fairfield Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Harvest Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Harvest Prep suffered a grim 21-13 defeat to Fairfield Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
