Basketball Recap: Buckholts Takes a Loss

Buckholts played against Methodist Children's Home and lost via forfeit.

Buckholts' defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Methodist Children's Home, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Buckholts will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fayetteville at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Methodist Children's Home, they will be home for the holidays to greet CenTex HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Methodist Children's Home is facing CenTex HomeSchool at the right time seeing as CenTex HomeSchool is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
