Volleyball Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Palo Verde Panthers

The Arbor View Aggies will take on the Palo Verde Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Arbor View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Shadow Ridge, who was ranked third at the time (Arbor View was ranked sixth). Arbor View lost 3-0 to Shadow Ridge on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Aggies have suffered against the Mustangs since March 8, 2022.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-7, 25-15.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Palo Verde faced off against Coronado on Tuesday. Palo Verde came up short against Coronado, falling 3-0.

While Palo Verde was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Coronado's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-22.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Arbor View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
