Volleyball Recap: Hebron Hawks vs. Washington Township Senators
Hebron had lost six straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-18 to make it seven. They came up short against the Washington Township Senators, falling 3-0. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Senators when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rayghan Baker and Riley Mowry certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Baker had ten digs and two aces, while Mowry had 27 digs and two aces. Mowry is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 17 games she's played.
As for Washington Township, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-14 Tri-Township and 4-18 Hebron.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington Township to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yancey Scott, who had eight digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Hart, who had 14 digs.
Hebron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Tri-Township on the 29th. As for Washington Township, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Morgan Township on the 29th.
