Basketball Recap: Brookfield's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Brookfield needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from Danny Ciriello. The Brookfield Bobcats walked away with a 64-52 win over the Joel Barlow Falcons on Friday thanks in part to Ciriello, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Another player making a difference was John Lopes, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Brookfield's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Joel Barlow, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
