Belleville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: DeWitt, who was ranked 11th at the time (Belleville was ranked sixth). Belleville snuck past DeWitt with a 59-54 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, West Bloomfield came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Falcons 57-35. The Lakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Belleville's win bumped their record up to 26-1. As for West Bloomfield, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.

Everything came up roses for Belleville against West Bloomfield in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured an 84-49 win.
