Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Indian Land on Tuesday, Rock Hill came back down to earth. The Bearcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets on Thursday. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellow Jackets earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 25-11, 25-20.

Sage Pettengill paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up eight kills. Pettengill got some help from Mattie Kline and her 11 assists.

Rock Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Fort Mill, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Rock Hill has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against North Augusta on the 4th. As for Fort Mill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northwestern on the 7th.
