For the first time ever, Xander Gibbon turned in triple-digit rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 170 yards and one TD on only seven carries, helping propel Ashland past Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles by a score of 44-31. That new high-mark topped his previous career-best: 87 rushing yards, set last Friday.

Coming up, Gibbon and Ashland will challenge Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
