Softball Recap: Fort Zumwalt East vs. Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs
Fort Zumwalt East had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs with a sharp 20-3 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Fort Zumwalt East as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Maria Huckstep made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Huckstep was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Fort Zumwalt East will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Fort Zumwalt North at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
