Football Recap: Chino Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Chino unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 45-7 loss at the hands of the Laguna Beach Breakers. The Cowboys were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Jack Hurst was nothing short of spectacular for Laguna Beach: he threw for 260 yards and four TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Hurst a new career-high in rushing yards (five). Another player making a difference was Charlie Christian, who rushed for 69 yards and one score on only six carries.

Chino didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 28-25 loss against Summit on the 29th. As for Laguna Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-0 win against Santa Monica on the 29th.
