California won the last time they faced Dublin, and Brooklyn Zhang did her part to make sure it happened again. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Gaels with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday thanks in part to Zhang, who had ten digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

One reason for the win was California's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-13.

California's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Dublin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. California will square off against rival Monte Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dublin is set to face off against their familiar foe Livermore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
