Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Axel Carballo and Eli Withers Lead Lincoln Charter to Victory

Lincoln Charter won the last time they faced East Lincoln and things went their way on Wednesday too. Lincoln Charter blew past East Lincoln 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

Leading Lincoln Charter to victory were Eli Withers and Axel Carballo. Withers had 11 digs and four aces, while Carballo had two aces and one assist. Carballo is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good server: Lincoln Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Lincoln Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lincoln Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mountain Island Charter on the 27th. After both having extra time off, East Lincoln and Community School of Davidson will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
