Basketball Game Preview: Wills Point Tigers vs. Caddo Mills Foxes

The Wills Point Tigers will challenge the Caddo Mills Foxes at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Caddo Mills took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wills Point, who comes in off a win.

Wills Point took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Palestine 41-21. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Caddo Mills took a blow against Godley on Tuesday, falling 55-27. While losing is never fun, the Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 903rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 109th).

Caddo Mills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Wills Point, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Wills Point suffered a grim 42-22 defeat to Caddo Mills in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Wills Point avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
