Basketball Recap: Lake Area Homeschool Sports Comes Up Short at Home Against Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics

Lake Area HomeSchool Sports unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm on Tuesday, falling 43-8.

Sadie Sharbono was her usual excellent self, going 6 of 12 on her way to 12 points along with seven steals and five boards for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics. Sharbono has been hot recently, having posted five or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Malorie Miller, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 10 points.

The win made it two in a row for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Lake Area HomeSchool Sports does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics, they will square off against Acadiana Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
