Baseball Game Preview: MICDS Rams vs. Lutheran South Lancers

For the second straight game, MICDS will face off against Lutheran South. The Rams will be playing at home against the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. MICDS' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Lutheran South's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

MICDS came out on top against Lutheran South on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Rams took their game against the Lancers 8-4. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Leonard Triplett, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brian Gould, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Lutheran South's loss dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for MICDS, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
