Softball Recap: Smithville Tigers vs. Washington Eagles

With a playoff game on the line, Smithville rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Washington Eagles a 21-0 shutout. Smithville's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Addison Otto made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).
