Basketball Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

If The Classical Academy of Sarasota wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they should've done a better job of containing Aymon Colten. The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat The Classical Academy of Sarasota Patriots 71-9 thanks in part to Colten, who almost dropped a triple-double on 32 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Millen Batson, who went 10 for 21 on his way to 21 points and six boards. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for The Classical Academy of Sarasota, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
