Sale Creek was the 56-44 winner over Sequatchie County when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sale Creek Panthers lost to the Sequatchie County Indians on the road by a 41-27 margin on Monday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gracie Arnold, who posted seven points.

Curtlyn Lee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sequatchie County, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 17 boards. That's the most rebounds Lee has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalyn Kelly, who put up eight points.

Sale Creek's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Sequatchie County, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Sale Creek has already played their next match, a 63-21 victory against Lookout Valley on the 14th. As for Sequatchie County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-25 win against South Pittsburg on the 14th.
