St. Francis entered their tilt with Folsom on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to the Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-0 victory. The Troubadours might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
St. Francis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalia Zitelli out in front who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Zitelli has posted over her last four games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Abalateo, who threw for 145 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of her passes.
St. Francis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Monet Zauner led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more defended passes the last four times she's played. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
St. Francis' record now sits at 16-3. As for Folsom, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
