Basketball Game Preview: Notasulga Blue Devils vs. Beauregard Hornets

The Notasulga Blue Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Beauregard Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Notasulga is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Wadley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 59-31. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Beauregard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-20 loss at the hands of Elmore County.

Notasulga's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Beauregard, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Notasulga came up short against Beauregard in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 52-44. Can Notasulga avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
