Baseball Recap: Holly Grove Christian Takes a Loss

Holly Grove Christian managed to slip by Chincoteague the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Ponies on Tuesday, falling 18-1. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ponies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Holly Grove Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley Chatham, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Holly Grove Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chincoteague, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coming up, Holly Grove Christian will be playing at home against Chestertown Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chincoteague, they will head out on the road to face off against Wicomico at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
