Soccer Recap: Glenbard East Comes Up Short

Glenbard East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. While losing is never fun, Glenbard East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Glenbard West are ranked 27th).

Glenbard East's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Glenbard West, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season.

Glenbard East has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Fenton on the 11th. As for Glenbard West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Romeoville on the 10th.
