Softball Recap: Eustace Comes Up Short

Eustace lost against Athens last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eustace Bulldogs took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Athens Hornets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eustace saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madilyn Andrews, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Eustace's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Athens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eustace will welcome Alba-Golden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Athens, they will challenge Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
