The Mariners are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Moreau Catholic will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Moreau Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over Washington on Friday. Considering the Mariners have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lexi Mejia was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with five runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Olivia Ritchie also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Moreau Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
American never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Washington on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Huskies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted against the Huskies since March 26, 2019.
American let Mya Anderson and Hudah Hassanin run wild. Anderson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Hassanin got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Those two RBI gave Anderson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jazlynn Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Moreau Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for American, their record is now 5-15.
American's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Moreau Catholic has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433. It's a different story for American, though, as they've only averaged .340. Will they be able to contain Moreau Catholic's hitters?
