Littleton had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Kennedy Commanders. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Commanders: they've now won six in a row.

Littleton was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 18-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Sophia Rodriguez paced Littleton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Camryn Alfstad and her 22 assists. Rodriguez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Naomi Peables, racking up four apiece.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kennedy fell to 2-1.

Littleton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Widefield on the 28th. As for Kennedy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Hinkley on the 27th.
