On Thursday, Marion County got the W thanks in part to Valencia Alridge playing the best basketball she has all season. Alridge wasn't messing around, putting up 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The contest was her ninth straight with two or more steals dating back to last season. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Alridge and Marion County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Alridge up against the Blue Devils' star shooting guard Harmony Franklin. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
