Softball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the St. Agnes Aggies, falling 9-1. The Scots have struggled against the Aggies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Highland Park now has a losing record of 4-5. As for St. Agnes, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Highland Park wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-1 victory against Harding on the 29th. As for St. Agnes, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-0 win against St. Croix Lutheran on the 29th.
