Baseball Recap: Omaha North's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Omaha North waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Bryan Bears. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Connor O'Neill was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. O'Neill was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Max Bolouvi was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Colin Kinman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Omaha North hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bryan struck out 11 times.

Omaha North's record now sits at 13-10. As for Bryan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Omaha North has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Columbus on the 6th. As for Bryan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-11 victory against Tekamah-Herman on the 6th.
