Basketball Recap: Providence Day Chargers vs. Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers

While it was all tied up 19-19 at halftime, Providence Day was not quite Legion Collegiate Academy's equal in the second half on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 38-37 to the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lancers 13-9 in the first quarter.

Providence Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Day will host Oak City Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
