Basketball Recap: Hoke County Comes Up Short

Hoke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 48-37 to the Lee County Yellow Jackets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-28 back in December of 2024.

Hoke County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Lee County, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Hoke County will face off against Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Richmond will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hoke County surely won't give up without a fight. Lee County has already played their next matchup (against Pinecrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
