Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Danvers). Everything went their way against the Swampscott Big Blue on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-1 victory. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Skylar Coakley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Coakley was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Lila Flynn was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Addi McCarty, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
