Tunkhannock put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Pittston Patriots. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Tunkhannock let Addisyn Waterman and Kayden Bamberger run wild. Waterman scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2, while Bamberger went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Waterman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Karp, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Tunkhannock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pittston only posted an OBP of .391.
Tunkhannock pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
