Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridge). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks 80-47. Given the Red Devil's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Sharks are ranked 319th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. As for KIPP Newark Lab, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-13.

Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-33 victory against Livingston on the 14th. As for KIPP Newark Lab, they have also already played their next game, a 71-66 defeat against University on the 14th.
