Volleyball Recap: Century Extends Winning Streak to Four

Century waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sugar-Salem Diggers. For the Diamondbacks, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Diggers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Century not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sugar-Salem between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

Century now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Sugar-Salem, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-11.

Coming up, Century will take on Pocatello at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Diamondbacks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sugar-Salem, they will square off against Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
