Softball Recap: Nightingale-Bamford Comes Up Short

The Nightingale-Bamford Nighthawks lost 19-4 to the Convent of the Sacred Heart Cardinals on Wednesday. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nightingale-Bamford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Bednark, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Bednark is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Sonya Elkus was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Nightingale-Bamford's loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Nightingale-Bamford will head out on the road to face off against Dalton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Convent of the Sacred Heart, they will be playing at home against Packer Collegiate Institute at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
