Baseball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Jackson-Milton Bluejays. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly ten runs.

Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pano Koladakis, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Koladakis is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Bobby Ramirez was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jackson-Milton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

While Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
