Soccer Recap: Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Leadership Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 10-1 to the Bishop McGuinness Villains. Leadership Academy have struggled against Bishop McGuinness recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Leadership Academy's goal came courtesy of Ella Lanier, who's now up to two this season.

Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bishop McGuinness, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Leadership Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Piedmont Classical on the 6th. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Triad Math and Science Academy on the 5th.
