Volleyball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paschal Panthers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

While Trinity was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-11.

Paschal was led to victory by Ava Dyer and Delilah Andrade. Dyer had 15 digs and five assists, while Andrade had nine assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Dyer has posted since back in October of 2024.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Paschal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Trinity has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Midlothian on the 21st. As for Paschal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Weatherford on the 21st.
