Volleyball Recap: Western Brown Falls to Ross in First Game of Season

Western Brown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ross Rams on Saturday. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Western Brown's offense was headlined by Shylah Day and Amahni Boone, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Lila McCarty and her six assists.

Ross found their leader in sophomore Mya Bosse, who had five digs and three aces.

Coincidentally, Western Brown and Ross will both be playing Taylor the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
