Port Jervis is a perfect 4-0 against Liberty since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will face off against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Port Jervis and four for Liberty dating back to last season.

Chester hit Port Jervis with a four-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders lost 12-6 to the Hambletonians. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly six runs.

Shaun Misczuk made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Elijah Campbell was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Liberty and Sullivan West, and Sullivan West kept the tradition alive. The Indians came up short against the Bulldogs two weeks ago, falling 10-3.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Port Jervis, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Port Jervis took their victory against Liberty in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-4 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
