Football Recap: Cascade Christian's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Klahowya last Saturday, Cascade Christian came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 44-38 to the Life Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Cascade Christian lost, don't look at Tayven Collins. Despite the final result, he rushed for 204 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also threw for 132 yards and a pair of TDs. Josiah Laurence was in the mix as well, providing the Cougars with two touchdowns.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Cascade Christian, adding 16 points to the final score. Brody Robertson delivered a perfect 3-3 game. One of the most memorable scores? An impressive kickoff return for a touchdown from Collins.

Even if they lost, Cascade Christian's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In that department, Asher Floyd was the leader with two.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cascade Christian fell to 8-1. As for Life Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Cascade Christian nor Life Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
