Baseball Game Preview: Grace Christian School Kings vs. Blue Ridge Barons

The Grace Christian School Kings will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Blue Ridge Barons at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Grace Christian School came up short against Steward and fell 6-3.

Grace Christian School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Caddell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christchurch School.

Charles Searby and Jacob Darrin stepped up to the plate in a big way. Searby went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Darrin scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Collins, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Grace Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
